How To Get Started With CrossFit…
The best way to get started with CrossFit is give Fiona a call and schedule an introductory appointment. We’ll go through everything with you and develop a plan to address your specific needs.
No one is ever too out of shape or in too good of shape for this class! We will adapt the workouts to suit your current level of fitness.
Due to the skill level involved in CrossFit, everyone must complete the Introductory Program before participating in any group workout sessions.
The Introductory Program runs for 3 sessions, and teaches you the basic movements used in our CrossFit workouts. These are one-on-one personal training sessions.
- The first session you will be taken through a series of the most basic movements. This provides us with a good measure of your current level of fitness.
- The second session introduces more complex movements. Time is spent on refining the movements which you are not comfortable with.
- The third session involves teaching you the remaining foundational skills, and touching up on the other movements you have learned.
By the end of the third session, you will have a solid understanding of CrossFit training, and will be ready to jump into the group workout sessions.
